How Many More Days?

 Another season...

"Hey look, there's something on the television."

"Hot dang! I've got my mask...let me put it on."

Another season... of the witch?

Halloween was never such a big thing, not after the 3rd grade or so. Now, high school, that was a whole 'nother thang.

Anyway, it's still a few days away.

  1. I am really excited to see how Chris' cultural exchange Halloweenyness goes. I love the demon out in front of his place. Since you are in Japan, do they do trick or treat type stuff?

I am off to decorate pumpkins at the local watering hole later this week.

    Great movie clip.

    1. We've done trick or treating a few times in designated areas. Not enough sidewalk space and parents kept yacking instead of watching where their kids were. That, with no street lights and darkness in the rural areas necessitated a move. We had a party last weekend and somehow managed to scare a few kids, but not quite as demonic as Chris' exchange.

This year, our supplier... we don't know quite what happened, but we are unable to get the corpse-weight pumpkins. We've got some smaller substitutes on the table at the moment, just itching to be carved.

    1. The 'clean' magic pumpkin commercial was in your comment section, but only what the kid would have seen on the screen. Only what the kid would have seen until the pumpkin started flashing. Thank god no one was wearing a mask.

  3. That movie freaked me out when I was a kid... the way those kids put the pumpkins on their heads and button flashed and the kids heads turned into insect mush.

Eight more days 'till Halloween... Sil-ver Sham-rock.

    1. One heck of a commercial.

For masks, Silver Shamrock is definitely the only real brand.
