DAY 1
Pack shitloads of stuff into bags, subsequently into tiny-ass TGV (the French bullet train) storage spaces...
Ride TGV to Auray then meet "l'équipe" in Carnac -- it would appear these guys work as used camper salesmen the rest of the year seeing as the operation is based out of a warehouse in back of a used camper dealership. We believed we would be working somewhere near Carnac but it is eventually decided we will be working on Belle-Ile-en-Mer, an island off the southern coast of Bretagne, because Angela used to spend her vacations there as a child and knows it well. Angela is of course excited at the idea of returning to her beloved island. We have a BBQ with everyone, sausages on baguettes and lots of cheap beer, sure dude.
Meet our coworkers Jacob and Julie, the only other people who have arrived besides us to sell ice cream seeing as most people show up around July 8th apparently. End up sneaking in to a nearby campground in order to sleep in the camper of one of the supervisors, this way we don't have to pay for our first night of camping.
